When in Rome experience the Roman Forum and how it may have looked in the days of Julius Caesar and Emperor Augustus more than 2000 years ago. This situated simulation takes you back to the year 29BC when Augustus dedicated The Temple of Caesar. You can also see the cremation of Julius Caesar in 44BC and access the Cloaca Maxima. Move around with your iPhone or iPad and explore the Ancient Forum. Use Snapshot to take parallel photos of both the real and the virtual environment and then share with friends. “Roman Forum” is part of a research and development collaboration between the University of Oslo, Norway Opening Universities, Tag of Joy and CodeGrind AB.
